The 2011 boating season has come to an end. We ended up with 102 boats in the yard and 7 in the water for winter storage. Remember boats are not allowed to be left plugged in on land and ladders should be secured when the owner is not present. As spring approaches keep in mind when sanding and scraping you must contain all debris, use a tarp and dispose of all debris properly. Every member is responsible for their area. When your boat leaves its winter storage spot all trash needs to be cleaned up, blocking put away and stands & shrink wrap taken home. Anyone interested in bidding on a slip for the 2012 boating season remember, available moorings will be posted after the first meeting in February for 2 weeks and awarded at the second meeting in February along with any slips vacated that night. You must have your boater’s card, proof of ownership and payment with you in order to bid on a mooring. So anyone who wants a mooring or has a mooring and is interested in possibly moving to a different spot should watch the board for postings, sign up and show up for meeting prepared.
