City Point Yacht Club is located on the west river in New Haven Harbor. It makes a great stop over. There are many restaurants and shops in New Haven and West Haven. West Haven has some of the Best Beaches in the State of Connecticut. Everything is just a short Taxi ride or bike ride away.

Marina Policy

1 The owner shall agree to have the watercraft coved by a full insurance package (hull coverage as well as indemnity and liability coverage). The owner agrees to release and discharge City Point Yacht Club (CPYC) from any and all responsibility or liability for injury (including death), loss or damage to person or property in connection with CPYC docking facility or marina. This release and discharge shall cover without limitation any loss or damage resulting from CPYC employees, parking, and /or hauling of boat, vandalism, theft, fire, high/low water, wind, collision, ice, rain or any other act of God.

2. Owner/boat operator is responsible for keeping the immediate area around boat in clean condition, and must use every precaution to prevent fire or accidents. Trash Must be deposited in designated area (dumpster).

3. Overboard discharge of fuel, oil, waste or garbage is prohibited. Any boat found discharging fuel/oil will be hauled and Owner will be notified and billed accordingly.

4. Owner shall be responsible for damage, which they or their guests cause to other boats or any structure within the Marina limits.

5. Boats not properly secured will be re-secured without any liability to CPYC. Owner will be charged for equipment and time. This may apply during inclement weather or threat of inclement weather.

6. All animals must be leashed. Animal is not allowed in the clubhouse. Please clean up after your pet.

7. Please respect your neighbor and fellow patrons. Violations of the terms of this contract, disorderly or inappropriate conduct will result in the cancellation of this contract and forfeiture of all fees paid and expulsion of the customer and boat from the Marina.

WAIVER

I understand that boating can be hazardous. I assume all risk of personal injury and property damage. I release and forever discharge and hold City Point Yacht club its members and/or employees harmless of any liability or claim regardless of cause. I agree that the location of any legal proceedings will be only in a New Haven County, New Haven Court.

I HAVE READ, ACKNOWLEDGED AND I AGREE TO THE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND WAIVER CONTAINED IN THIS CONTRACT.
